Hoisting and Rigging ( Refresher)
This module will provide workers and supervisors with the adequate knowledge required for safe hoisting and rigging. This course identifies basic hazards, explains the safeguards that are essential in order to control or eliminate these hazards, as well as other safety information and requirements. Includes wallet certificate valid for 3 years.
Hoisting and Rigging ( Fundamental )
provides participants with basic training for rigging and hoisting operations. Introduction to the equipment used for rigging and hoisting, their applications and limitations, common hitches, and an introduction to basic knots. Participants will demonstrate hand signals, tying knots, and rigging noncomplex loads for hoisting.
First Aid with CPR & AED ( Standard )
In this two-day course, students will learn how to recognize and provide interventions for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives. This course gives participants a hands-on approach to learning new lifesaving skills. The Standard First Aid course is geared towards educating citizens about the prevention of emergencies and how to react to an emergency situation. The Standard First Aid with CPR & AED (Traditional) Course meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Includes wallet certificate valid for 3 years. In-Class Course Length: 16 hours (2 days) Who can benefit from this course? Persons assigned to respond to emergencies in the workplace (crew of five or more) or community as well as those who want to learn first aid, CPR and AED skills. Certification is valid for 3-years from the date of completion.
Emergency First Aid with CPR & AED
